HISTORY 

St. James Catholic Church, located in Gulfport, Mississippi, is a historic community of faith with roots reaching back to 1896. Having been rebuilt multiple times after suffering complete losses by fire, the current church was dedicated on March 17, 1969. St. James articulates its mission as “Leading people to Heaven with Christian hospitality and fostering eucharistic discipleship.”

OUR WORK​

Sainte Chapelle Studios was engaged to provide liturgical consultation for upcoming renovations to their church, to ensure that all proposed improvements would be guided by the principles of worship as outlined in the church's tradition. Our services included liturgical consultation on the design and placement of liturgical furnishings, the unifying principles of theology directing design, and an overall aesthetic promoting eucharistic discipleship. ​​​​
